Job search coaching

Where to start? Update the resume, search for a better paying job, start applying, practice interviewing skills? FAM’s network will work with clients to improve employment outcomes.

Financial assistance

After verifying need, financial assistance may be available for rent, utilities, medical expenses, bus passes, gas vouchers, and car repairs. All funds are paid directly to the provider.

Other supportive services

Additional services including scripture study, group prayer and study, as well as parenting and relationship counseling are provided by FAM or its partners.

Budget & credit coaching

Successful journeys start with a roadmap.  FAM case managers verify income and expenses and then help clients build a self-reliance plan. This may include referrals to a variety of community financial resources.

Health & Human Services

Addiction and mental health counseling are important resources on the road to recovery. While FAM doesn’t directly provide these services, we assist our clients with finding and accessing appropriate treatment programs.

Tax preparation assistance

In partnership with United Way, FAM offers free income tax preparation assistance. To have your taxes prepared for free register by contacting FAM at 949-492-8477 ext. 125. The service is available in Laguna Niguel on Thursdays through April 6 and San Clemente on Saturdays through April 8.
